Andrew Reynolds is my favorite skateboarder.
It is amazing to me how many good tricks he can do. Reynolds has
such a high ollie, it is insane. Due to the fact that I like Andrew
Reynolds so much I decided to do a little biography on him, so here it
goes.
Andrew grew up in Lakeland, Florida,
which is very close to Tampa. Reynolds first started skating in 1987,
when he was only 9 years old. The old Powell videos are what used
to fuel Andrew and his friends to keep on skating, the videos also
helped him and his friends to build little launch ramps.
Andrew would go to the skate park
in Tampa occasionally for fun. In 1995 he went pro sponsored by Birdhouse.
He was 17 and at the height of 6 feet 2 inches, when he went pro.
He immediately got a couple of 1st place standings in Northampton and Tampa.
Now Andrew does not like contests. On skateboarding he says "Its'
more just like a test for yourself. It's not really all that much
fun, I'd say. Well it's always fun skating, but it's just like, "I
wonder how I can do?"
In 1997 Andrew moved from florida
to Huntington Beach in California. He later moved to Hollywood and
there, Andrew was introduced into the night life and started partying.
Andrew would party with his friends Jim Greco, Erik Ellington, Ali Boulala
and some others. He could see people to drunk to skate, that is when he
decided to stop drinking. Now he is totally clean, sober, and skating
better than ever.
Now Andrew spends half of the year
in his hometown of Lakeland and half of the year in Los Angeles.
Reynolds likes Lakeland more than Los Angeles because all of his family
is there, he knows every where that he likes to skate there, and it is
a more laid back lifestyle than in Los Angeles.
Andrew Reynolds has been sponsored
by many people. Some of his early sponsors were G&S, Birdhouse,
Airwalk, Independent, Ezekiel Clothing, Nowadays. Andrews current
sponsors are Baker and Emerica.
Some things that Andrew Reynolds loves
are diamonds, collecting jewelry, shopping for clothes and DVDs and editing
video footage of himself and his friends on his PowerBook.

the left are two of Reynolds pro decks.
On the left side is a picture of Andrew Reynolds. In the middle is a monster kickflip off a roof top onto the street. To the right is a picture of Andrew skating big, doing a nollie kickflip down an eleven set.
